What happens when I send for my Freepost Pack?
You will be sent a pre-paid special delivery freepost envelope; this allows you to send us up to £500 worth of gold, fully insured, free of charge. You simply pop your gold in the bag provided, pop it in the freepost envelope and await your offer.
How will I know that you have received my gold?
Once your parcel arrives with us we will send you an email to confirm receipt of your parcel.
How much will you pay for my Gold?
Once we receive your parcel, we shall initially check for hallmarks and calculate the price for each item excluding any stones that may be set in jewellery. We shall make you an online or telephone offer, should you wish to accept this offer, a cheque or cash shall be dispatched within 24 hrs. If you do not to accept the offer, your jewellery will be returned within 24 hrs (fully insured). Gold375.com is a free service and you will never incur any charges for postage etc, should you accept or decline our offer.
How long from start to finish will it take?
From submitting a form to us, and you receiving your cash or cheque, could be as quick as 4 working days.
Do you accept unhallmarked Gold?
Unhallmarked gold normally is bought outwith the UK, please send it to us and we will examine and test the gold contents to determine if it is 9ct, 14ct, 18ct or 22ct and will make you an offer based upon our results. If it is not gold you will be notified and your jewellery returned to you.
Do you accept Gold plated or Costume Jewellery?
No, sorry we only buy gold and platinum.
Do you buy Silver?
No, sorry we only buy gold and platinum. If it has the numbers 958 or 925 as the hallmark, then it will be Silver.
Do you buy Gold Coins?
Yes we do and will pay based on weight and carat.
How do I know what type of gold I have?
There should be a 3 digit number on the hallmark.
375 = 9 carat
585 = 14 carat
750 = 18 carat
916 = 22 carat
999 = 24 carat
950 = Platinum
If i sell my gold to you, how long do I have to change my mind and get it back?
By law, you have 48 hours to ask for your jewellery back after a transaction has taken place. You can contact us on 01383 842666 to inform us you want your jewellery back.
We will post it back to your when we receive our cash back.
